Back for another year, the delicious Shoondhisa from Guji, Ethiopia, returns to fill your cups with nectarine and lychee; you’ll be reaching for all-day-long.
We’ve been partners with Sookoo Coffee, the grower, processor, and exporter responsible for many delicious Guji coffees, and Square Mile has been purchasing this particular lot since 2023. Produced by smallholder members and processed at Suke Drying Station, the harvest was slightly delayed this season, so the station received cherries well into February 2026. Once received, coffee cherries are dried whole in a thin layer for four to five days, before this layer is thickened for the final 2 weeks of drying, bringing out the distinct stone fruit flavours we love in Shoondhisa.
